Important Notice Regarding Session 103, 4/6/16

Important Notice Regarding Session 103, 4/6/16

I done goofed! Fortunately, it only has implications for the party’s future choices, not the past events, and therefore it can be remedied by just pointing out what actually happened.

Rechecking my notes, I indicated that Owyn and Laurente would not be able to save the party if the portal closed because they did not have the platinum admin keys to enable the X disk. That means the X disk was in Engineering! Thorfus would have needed to use the old key from Midmark to reopen the passage back after the lockdown shut off the portal. That means Guarinus destroyed a regular key — which still would have been a problem since the platinum keys were inside area X and the X disk outside, but only if Thorfus failed to leave in time.

What this means going forward is that the party could choose to reopen the passage to Area X — and that the only portal disk in the party’s possession is the X disk from the dark elf. Fortunately, that doesn’t invalidate anything that has happened and the party still could choose to leave the ancients locked away (it’s just not a foregone conclusion).

Quick Update Regarding Axel

Quick Update Regarding Axel

Antony Nicklin  and I have discussed what to do in upcoming sessions (as well as Axel’s fate) and made some decisions. The most relevant decision for the party is that Antony will be playing Derich in the near term, making that character a full PC.

Interesting article on Roll 20 macro for indicating what AC is hit.

Interesting article on Roll 20 macro for indicating what AC is hit.

Simply in double square brackets indicate what is needed to hit AC0 and subtract the d20 roll.

From the example in the article of a 7th level fighter: [[14-d20]].

When I first tried this, I got that I hit AC 11, hovering over the result shows that a 3 was rolled.

I think I’ll make new macros for proficient weapon, non-proficient weapon, and specific magic weapons. Thus a button click should reduce the need to type formulas and slow things down.
