#exploration-bookkeeping
As I recall, we took the sewer from near Thornton’s place to the cathedral crypts, and then back to Thornton’s.
It was very close to Thornton’s that we entered and then exited the sewer.
We came up in an alley or something, so as not to be right next to Thornton’s.
If we hurry, if most of the Grey Cloaks are at the temple, we can get inside and deal with the impostor.
We can’t incinerate him, we have to preserve his boy, especially his head to clear our names.
We may need to use him to make contact with the dragon emperor to save the world….
We need to determine if Thornton is alive in one of the cells.
We need to determine if Ardman(?) (I can’t keep the name straight of the prisoner who changed his story.) is still in the jail, and if it is really him….
I’m thinking we need to have the ship leave now while there is a chance, and we can either have it come back once we clear our names, or arrange a meeting place, if we can’t.
Thorfus also grabbed the magic rings, etc. off the mayor and Perette, so we may need to put those to use….
Now we know why there is no face on the faceless man, he (she?) is an illusionist using project image to deal with his potential rivals, and taking their spellbooks.
