I wonder, can I adopt a lost familiar, or is he technically still linked to finnklemyrr?
Depends on what you mean by “adopt” — you can certainly care for Sokrates, but the relationship cannot be the same as with Caesar or Boris before him.
No, I mean is he still bonded to finnklemyrr, neither are dead.
Okay — if questioned about that, Sokrates will answer that his connection to Finklemur was active when he lost track of him near Glavnone. He doesn’t know if it was severed (a la Golden Compass) or if Finklemur is just far away.
So technically – he should be able to sense him once he’s in range.
