  1. Pardicta and Weswynelle are no longer with the party (Wes because of injury, while Pard left with the other hirelings). Also, you probably need to delete the stuff left in Xen’Khel and move the items listed as stored at Thornton’s.

  2. Fixed. I’d missed the two hirelings. The Xen’Khel stuff was mostly kept on hand just in case, but no doubt it’s been raided or buried by now. The stuff at Thornton’s I knew had been collected, but didn’t know where they were put, but since Larry was monitoring that stuff, it can be moved.

  3. Antony Nicklin, Follow Me, And Die!, and anyone else concerned: The quartermaster document lists many things as already being on the Jolly Gorgon. Were those moved during the time that the PCs visited Thornton with Edis? Or are these items on the wagon/cart ready to go when the party leaves the next morning? It might be an important distinction if the confrontation goes badly and the Jolly Gorgon leaves with Em (i.e., is that stuff leaving with her or is it still available at the inn?)

  4. Oh, nope. I did it in advance but the night ended up being longer. That’s the list of things to be moved in the morning.

I suppose the armour and the two chests could’ve been moved already, to make space for the sword on the wagon before it’s sold. If you recall, I said Axel spent most of the day after purchasing the ship unloading the wagon and sorting out all the gear, and we would’ve had to buy all the food and deliver that anyway.

  5. Right — given that the ship purchase was concluded around 3PM and the visit to Thornton’s wrapped up around 5:30PM (with the party returning at about 6PM to the inn), I figure one wagon load plus the cart could have made it to the ship and been loaded. After that, the wagon could have returned for reloading. Food was being handled by Almeric at the docks, so that can be assumed as finished by nightfall.

The big question is, did you want to have that stuff loaded before nightfall or were you waiting for the morning? I believe the wagon had plenty of space for everything (even with the sword), so it’s a choice. The fact that you might choose differently before and after the visit the Thornton’s complicates matters, so try to imagine your likeliest decision prior to knowing about the impostor.

  6. My plan was to have the Sword and the cart loaded in the morning, prior to selling the wagon and it’s oxen. Everything else could’ve been done during that initial run, so would already be on the boat (the two chests and the armour).

  7. Since the plan was to leave in the morning, we would be working to load as much as possible to leave with a favorable tide. The wagon, etc. would be ready to go in the morning.

I don’t recall, did we take the boy to the ship or to the cock & Bull? (Thorfus has the written order authorizing the transport of the boy home.)

I missed a bit there having to step away a couple times, so I know we went to the Cock & Bull and then to the courthouse.

We anticipated a potentially difficult time leaving before we knew about Thornton, so we took care of the sub, and bought a ship. We made arrangements to buy food and load our water barrels and cart.

Thorfus would be debating whether to chance holding a house in an unfriendly city in a targeted neighborhood, with a mass of city watch and grey cloaks. Especially now that we know Thornton isn’t.

Is it better to get the loaded wagon, hirelings, and the boy to the ship tonight? If so, is it better for Thorfus to stay with the wagon, or join in the coming altercation with Thornton?
