213 XP and no bonus for exceptional abilities. This is going to take awhile…..
I’m going to look into that actually. It’s because you guys have mostly been fighting small fry and have not fallen into pots of gold, but not doing session summaries as we’re used to will have an effect as well.
I’ve been toying with the idea of introducing ‘Personal Quests’. Ie, a goal your characters want to achieve that you can earn experience for, the amount varying with time and difficulty.
It works well with stuff like Batukhan’s desire to procure horses, but can work well for other things too.
First edition XP and treasure awards are a tricky business — it really works best with dungeon delving where crypts full of loot make sense. Monster XP by-the-book is just anemic; that can be great in that it discourages thoughtless and repetitive combat, but bad if there’s no logical way to work in large batches of treasure.
