  1. Ruling on Grappler Plan

Each grappler needs one turn to catch, bring a infected up, and return to the holding area. The elevator needs one round to move between levels (each direction). Therefore, a constant five infected can be dispatched per turn.

  2. I’m not sure if we can ask this, but do we know how many Infected there are? Thorfus should be able to count them with the automatons right?

And to Follow Me, And Die! and Rahm Benisaeko, how long do we want to spend on this (bearing in mind Thorfus and Axel need a certain number to benefit.

  3. The infected are contained, but if the power ever goes out, there is the possibility of them getting out. If Finkleworm, something else, or an earthquake ever open it up, there is the possibility of them getting out.

Plus it is a mercy to dispatch them.

We can have the monkeys expand the doors to that the grapplers can carry the infected to the north room, then we can activate it with a 10 foot pole to destroy them for good.

I may be putting too much thought into this, I’m thinking of the long term, does it matter?

  4. Chuq is all for exterminating all infected, sans any that might be interrogated. As for how long, how efficient can we make the system? Can we not enlist as many as 8 grapplers at a time? Perhaps we should have Derick pray for Cure Disease (as many as he can) in case the other types are communicable. Chuq’s end game is to cleanse this place.

  5. I was assuming the use of all 8 grapplers — you’re still limited by the elevator, though, so only five can be destroyed each turn. In terms of raw numbers, a quick census would reveal that there are about fifty infected in the lower holding area. So, at maximum efficiency, it would take ten turns to clear the area (a little more than an hour and a half — probably closer to two hours).

  6. I see no obvious constraint on our time here, and this would probably benefit from being extra safe about it.

Btw, Follow Me, And Die! Axel only needs 18 kills to get his axe to the next level. Is the remainder enough for you to hit 100?
