Notes for ISAAC HAMILTON:

Believe Isaac to be the father of Franklin Pierce Hamilton, and Isaac's father to have been Asa. See Vermillion County, Illinois marriage records. Have been unable to find these families in 1850 or 1860 IL census for Vermillion, Champaign, Edgar, Ford, McLean, Peoria Counties, Illinois, nor Parke or Vermillion Counties, Indiana.

It is possible that Isaac's parents were Oliver E. Hamilton and Susan Henderson.

Isaac listed on 1850 census as a shoemaker with a Mr. Green, and found on the 1860 Madison County, Union Twp., Indiana census for 1860 with his family.
